Story
The story
takes place in an old mine from First World War. There are some rooms one has
to pass to enter the mine. They were used as a bar and resting place by the miners.
The bar was called “The hole”. They kept a storage for all their liquor and if
one had a keen eye, in the little narrow passage that leads there; one might
notice the entrance to the mine.
The mine goes as deep as the water allows. By accident, the miners eventually
hit the groundwater while digging. Therefore, the bottom of the mine is flooded
with water and it allows strange species to evolve there.
These days it’s abandoned and only a little strange human lives there. The
human called Rai. Rai has no age and no sex but Rai has a drum. The drum sounds
beautiful when played inside the huge mine. Rai plays for the animals that
lives in the cold, black water, on the bottom of the mine. The drum makes the
beats for the philosophical conversations he has with the fishy animals and
make it possible for them to understand each other.
